Over the past two weeks, you may have noticed that AACO work trucks have been cleaning and clearing trees. The on-site supervisor explained that during their slower work period, their goal is to complete this process by spring by going through our entire neighborhood.
The county's plan is to trim any branches that hang over in the roadway, trim dead branches, and cut down diseased trees. At this point, AACO is working on accessible trees. If you see AACO trucks out working, please move your vehicle into your driveway or another area. If you have a tree marked with a "Blue X" or "Blue Dot," try to keep your vehicle away from the marked tree during the day for the foreseeable future.
Tree stumps will be removed and ground. The county will collect wood piles. Stumps marked in red await Miss Utility before the County can grind and remove stumps.
In upcoming meetings, the HOA will discuss the planting of new replacement trees that are best suited for our neighborhood.
